I never thought I could love a career as much as I do this one. To say I’m passionate about collecting, helping people, networking with others who have similar interests, and rehoming treasured items would be an understatement.
When I go into an estate, I don’t feel as though I’m simply looking at objects. I view it as experiencing someone’s life story and attempting to find new caretakers for what they were passionate about.
I get to know the people through the pictures I find, hearing the music they listened to, or seeing the souvenirs they found on their travels.
It’s truly humbling to be allowed to display a person’s life in the way I do and be the curator of their collection. In that capacity, I don’t view myself as a reseller, but rather as a historian trying to pay homage to someone else’s journey.
This is why I treat every estate as I would want my own.
We understand how difficult a time this can be for our clients and we strive to make the process as stress free as we possibly can. There is no job we won’t do for them.
Our goal is to run an organized and successful sale that meets all their specific needs, while also maintaining excellent communication, transparency, and compassion.
We focus on clear and honest dialogue with our clients, listening to what they have to say, and being respectful of their wishes.
We're a family run business and 5th generation Oregonians that have been involved in the Portland estate sale and auction community for almost 20 years.
We started as resellers, attending public sales and making a living buying and selling antiques and collectables around 2003.
Up until 2020, the highlight of our year had been running the largest booth at Christine Palmer's Antique show (at the Portland Expo center), the largest antique show west of the Mississippi.
It was a thrill to show off the treasures we had found, sell as much as we could to the 25k shoppers that visited each show, and see the same friends year in year out from around the country.
Unfortunately, the world has changed so much in the last year that this is no longer possible and we’ve had to adapt our business.
Luckily however, we have been able to transition our knowledge, experiences, and work ethic into running our own estate sales.
We have been fortunate enough to get help and wisdom from some of the best estate sale companies in the business and are eternally grateful to them for being supportive, willing to teach us, and most importantly, be our friends.
